Spend a cozy afternoon in Winery Lane’s cellar, learning traditional indigo dyeing techniques to make your own hand dyed table linens.
During this three hour workshop, local textile artist Gigi Woolery, will guide you through the process of dyeing using multiple indigo recipes to achieve different shades and temperatures of blue. You will also learn how to use “resist” techniques to create patterns. Indigo used in this workshop is locally grown and processed at Vibrant Valley Farm in Portland.
Class includes all materials, two dyeable organic cotton napkins, and your first glass of wine.
